I have a lived in Langdale Courtyard for
a year now and it's been the safest and most comfortable I have felt in all accommodations I've lived in. Wish I had found this little gem in my first year. The staff are so lovely and supportive and any issues that arose during my stay were quickly rectified by the maintenance guys. Thank you all for making my stay amazing.

Spacious rooms, great facilities and amazing staff!!

Lived in this accommodation for 3 years as it was that good! Rooms are decently sized and priced, along with regular cleaners. Staff here are always really nice and will help with any queries or problems had in a nice manner. Special shout out to Caretaker Ged and Katie from the front office who genuinely made my experience here amazing. Always helped me (even if it was for minor things) when I needed it and truly are amazing assets to this accommodation!

Would definitely recommend if you are looking to make new friends and enhance your university experience!

Best student accomodation in Manchester.

I've felt really looked after during my time here. I know not many people in student halls can say that. I'm truly grateful, thank you.

I moved into Carr Mills for my first year at uni and I have really enjoyed my stay here and will be staying for another year. When I first arrived the room was in very good condition, really clean and spacious. My parents where happy with it. The staff are really kind and friendly, my room is very cosy and homey and whenever there is any maintenance problems they are very quick to get it sorted out. I have recommended Carr Mills to other people!

It's coming to the end of my second year living in Langdale Hall, and I could not recommend the place more. All the reception staff are friendly and very helpful, and the maintenance team are quick to answer requests. The rooms are also great. Any students in Manchester should definitely consider living here!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here this year. The staff are lovely and really do their best to make sure you feel at home. Great facilities and social area, comfortable room, and an absolute bargain. Can't wait to stay again next year!!!

This student accommodation is fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone! The staff are incredibly helpful and super friendly, there have been several occasions where they have gone the extra mile a to make sure I'm comfortable and happy. I lived in one of Njoy's Naburn and Welby street houses for 2 years of my degree and loved it. The house itself was spacious and modern and far nicer than any other student house I've seen! All the staff are brilliant and genuinely care about your wellbeing. The maintenance staff were great and issues were addressed quickly through the online form.

Wonderful place to live; full of character and really feels like a home.

There's a close community atmosphere. It's also a very pretty building with gardens and greenery, which is rare for student hall accommodations. The best experience was the new friendships.

Flat was spacious and clean, maintenance were fast to fix any issues, staff in reception are amazing and very helpful, security are great and will rescue you from spiders. 10/10

Four of my five years in Manchester have been spent in Njoy accommodation. Great quality rooms and good value for money. The common areas are always kept clean and well equipped with foosball, pool, table tennis and a home cinema set up. The staff are always super friendly and exceedingly helpful, accommodating and quick to help resolve any issues that may arise.

This accommodation for students is amazing! Everyone is really friendly. The staff in the office are really nice and helpful and are happy to chat to you about anything, any worries you may have and they will happily listen. The caretaker is also very nice, he will help you with any issues you may have in your accommodation and will get it sorted as soon as possible.

Absolutely love this place. This hasn't felt like an accommodation, more like a home :) HUGE shoutout to the staff members Ged and Katie. They both have catered to every one of my needs and are genuinely the best people. Whenever I see them they never fail to bring me a smile and a good energy to the place!!!

The best accommodation I could ask for. Lovely big rooms all bills included and such a helpful supportive team. Big shout out to Ged for all his help and always being on hand. And also big shout out to Katie and Rachel, going to miss your big smiles everytime I come into the office. Everyone here is so amazing. if I could I would stay longer.

Good sized rooms, there's places to relax, affordable and it has good links to transport.

BEST STUDENT ACCOM in Manchester. Lived here during my entire degree. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, the public kitchen/bathrooms/dining rooms get cleaned regularly by cleaning staff. If you experience any issues with your room, the maintenance staff is always happy to help (you have to fill in an online maintenance request form). There are plenty of shops nearby including Tesco, Lidl, Poundland, Co-op and many takeaway restaurants on Curry mile. They also have laundry rooms (washing machines&dryers) that you can access 24/7 + ironing board and hoover that you can borrow from Langdale reception and return. On top of that there is a cinema room, games room with table tennis and pool table, as well as a foosball table and outdoor tennis court surrounded by a nice green space. All the staff members are very kind, welcoming and helpful. Ged and Katie would go out of their way to ensure all the residents get a positive experience living here.

Affordable option for students studying in Leeds in a decent area. It's conveniently close to all your needs like a gas station right outside, a convenient store about 10 mins away and city center is only a 25 min walk. The staff are also super friendly and any maintenance or issues you may have get sorted straight away.

Honestly a fantastic place to live! I didn't enjoy my time in university halls, they were too noisy, dirty, and dark. In second year I moved here and never looked back. The building is beautiful, I feel like im living in a place too fancy to be a student Hall. There's a big garden, and they keep it well maintained with flowerbeds that spring beautiful roses every March/April. The staff are also lovely, they always say hello and are super friendly and helpful if you ever have problems. The maintenance team are great too, they come and sort any problems in your flat as soon as possible, usually on the same or next day. I would rate them 6 stars if I could.

My year at Carr Mills has been thoroughly enjoyable. As a first year student you never have high hopes for student accommodation however Carr Mills - especially the staff - have proved that doesn't always have to be the case. Everyone in the Carr Mills team is lovely, approachable and makes you feel very safe - you can tell that they genuinely care about the students that live here. Small competitions are always being held for the residents and well as there being a constant supply of free goodies in reception to grab; it creates a community feel that I don't think you would find at many other accoms. The rooms are nicely sized with comfortable double beds and en-suites. They are also nicely shaped so you don't feel like you're living in a premier inn or prison - you're able to make it look and feel like home. Some advice would be that the sooner you decorate your rooms/make them your own the sooner you will find it easier to live away from home if that's something you're anxious about. The flats also have large kitchen/living room areas which makes socialising with your flat mates and guests a lot easier. The maintenance team, in my experience, has always been very efficient usually fixing any issues within 48 hours - 24 hours for more urgent ones. All in all I have had an amazing year here and have been genuinely surprised by the high standard of living. Would definitely recommend!

I have lived here for one academic year and have enjoyed my stay so much that I didn't consider looking for an alternative for next year. I live in a studio and it is very spacious, well furnished and quiet enough for me to get work done if I do study from home. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to students and maintenance issues are attended to extremely quickly that you are barely inconvenienced. I love walking around the garden in the warmer months and the bright flowers at the entrance always make my day when I get home in the spring and summer.

I've been fortunate to call Langdale Hall my home for the past four years during university, and I'm extremely satisfied with the accommodation. The office team and caretaker have consistently provided exceptional service and support, making my experience a pleasure.

Having lived here for a while in both Langdale Hall and Carfax court, I can say that it's a great place to live. Having looked round at other halls/places to live, this seems to be by far the most affordable especially as all bills are included. The space allows you to choose how social you'd like to be whilst also giving you the space to be alone. Most maintenance issues are resolved quickly and staff are always nice and friendly. Never had any issues with anyone living there/sharing the flat, and the building is close to bus stops to get around, shops and 2 parks. Langdale Hall/blocks also have access to green space which is great, especially during the summer time and the cleaner always does a good job. Would definitely recommend living here.
